

Wanda Aline Wagner, 90, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2025. Wanda was born in Newburgh, Indiana on August 29, 1934 to the late George Alexander Barnes and Nera Alice Grant. She was a member of Crossroads Community Church formerly First Church of God. She was retired from Kiddie Kampus Daycare with over 19 years of service. Wanda was a world traveler having visited all 50 states and several countries. She was an avid bowler where she bowled up in her 80's. Wanda loved sports, and was a dedicated Cincinnati Reds fan along with the New Albany High School Basketball and University of Louisville Basketball.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Lee Wagner; a sister, Kathryn Jean Lynn; and a brother, George G. Barnes.
Wanda is survived by children, Denver Lee Wagner (Debby), Elizabeth Craddock and Tracy Harden (Rose); grandchildren, Gary Craddock (April), Kelly Robinson (Jeff), Courtney Stockland (Daniel), Leeann Wagner (Rocky Reid), Jennifer Brown (Jason) and Jessica Stark (Pat); great grandchildren, Devin, Dezi, Yuri, Dayton, Rocky, Lucas and Jax and numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Visitation for Wanda will be held Friday, April 11, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM with funeral service beginning at 3:00 pm at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana 47150. Private burial will be at Kraft Graceland Memorial Park.
