Walter K. Cannon Jr., 89, of Clarksville, Indiana passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2023. Walter was born in Jeffersonville, Indiana on March 31, 1934 to the late Walter Cannon Sr. and Emma Beyl Cannon. He was retired from General Electric and was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Walter served in the United States Army.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Jean Marie Gilbert and a brother, Edward F. Cannon.
Walter is survived by his wife, Anna F. Cannon; two daughters, Elizabeth A. Grube (Paul Jeffrey) and Carolyn M. Anderson; grandchildren, Erika Nicole Prescott, Kenneth Darrell Anderson (Viktoria), Jesse Evan Anderson, Kolton C. Popp (Asslie), Karsen Shelbi Popp and Emma Ann Anderson; great grandchildren, Maximus William Stewart, Elijah Jesse Anderson and Henry George Anderson; several nieces and nephews.
In following Walters wishes, there will be no viewing but a Memorial Funeral Mass will be conducted at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 316 North Sherwood Avenue, Clarksville, Indiana 47129 on Saturday September 2, 2023 at 11:00 am.
