Virginia Mary Gifford, age 102, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2024. She was the daughter of Thomas Donnelly and Doris Gardner and was born February 2, 1922 in Amsterdam, New York. She was preceded in death by her husband William E. Gifford and their son, William R. Gifford.
She is survived by three sons, Bob (June) Gifford, Jerry (Jan) Gifford and Jim (Gwen) Gifford, as well as 12 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
She and her husband of 68 years enjoyed dancing, traveling, golfing and spending time with family. She will me missed by all that knew her. The family plans a private Celebration of Life in New York.
