Steven D. Giles, Sr. 64 years of age, died Wednesday June 8, 2011 at the Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis, IN. Steven was a machinist at the Courier Journal and an Army Veteran. He was a member of the American Legion Post 42 in Floyds Knobs, and St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Becky Lehnert Giles; sons, Steven D. Giles, Jr. (Stacey), Scott D. Giles (Stephanie); mother, Martha May Giles; sisters, Janice Leber (Ed), Pat Schalk (Kenny); grandchildren, Benjamin D. Giles, Ethan D. Giles; step-grandchildren, Kasey, Kristen, and Kortney Graham
Visitation will be from 12:00 pm ~ 7:00 pm Sunday and after 12:00 pm Monday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 2:00 pm Monday at St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church with burial to follow at the Church Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.kraftfuneralservice.net.
