Shari Renee Swan

Shari Renee Swan, 59, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on January 14, 2022 at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Indiana. She was born April 19, 1962 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Paul and Doris Swan. She was a nurse for 30 years, mostly in long-term elderly care with her last position at Autumn Woods Health Campus in New Albany. She was a member of Graceland Baptist Church in New Albany. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Brianna Negrón; brother, Steven Swan; sister, Denise Cockerell. Shari is survived by her children: Brittany Workman, Brian Workman, Brandon Swan; longtime partner: Don Peak; siblings: Theresa Brock (Swan), Gary Swan, Ricky Swan, Paul W. Swan, Mark Swan, Phil Auter; grandchildren: Alexander Workman and Olivia Workman. Visitation will be 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday, January 19, 2022 and 8:00 am to 10:00 am Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, Indiana 47150. Her funeral service will be 10:00 am Thursday, January 20, 2022 at the funeral home chapel with burial at Abundant Life Memorial Gardens in New Albany.
