Richard Paul Henderson

Richard Paul Henderson, 95, of New Albany Indiana, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, August 28, 2023. Paul was born on June 2, 1928 in Nancy Kentucky, he was the son of Ethel and Leo Henderson. Paul is preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Brenna Williams; four brothers, Gene, Merrell, Charlie and Gerald Henderson. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Judith Henderson; his grandson, Shawn Williams of New Albany, Indiana; four brothers, Clyde Henderson of New Albany, Indiana, Jimmy (Aggie) Henderson of Lancaster, Kentucky, Joe Henderson of Nancy, Kentucky and Claude (Pat) Henderson of Nancy, Kentucky and one sister, Cora (Ron) Hyslope of Lexington Kentucky. Paul is also survived by two step-daughters, Jennifer (David) Pugh of Paintsville, Kentucky and Rebecca (Scott) Huston of Louisville, Kentucky; three step grandchildren; two step-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and friends. Paul was the owner of Kentuckiana Waste Paper Company and H and K Auto Sales. He was a member of the Elks in Wabash, Indiana and New Albany, Indiana. Paul was also a member of the New Albany Country Club. Paul enjoyed golfing and playing cards. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana 47150. Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 am on Friday, September 1, 2023 at the funeral home with burial to follow in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park.
