Richard L. Campbell Sr.

Richard “Dickie” L. Campbell Sr., 90, of Clarksville, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2023. Dickie was born in Louisville, Kentucky on July 12, 1933, to the late Richard Campbell and Thelma (Seibert) Campbell. He served in the United States Navy. Dickie was a faithful employee for many years at the Kentucky and Indiana Railroad until his retirement and was at one time the president of the National Knife Collectors Association. He was a member of the Parkview United Methodist Church, where he and his late wife Anna Campbell attended. Along with his parents and wife of 66 years, Anna Campbell, Dickie is preceded in death by one brother, Dennis Campbell. He is survived by his two sons, Richard Campbell Jr. and Stephen Lee (Suzanne) Campbell; two siblings, Hugh Campbell, and Sharon Cardwell; and two grandsons, Ethan Campbell, and John Campbell. Visitation for Dickie will be held Tuesday, August 15, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Home, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana 47150. The funeral Service will be Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at 12:00 PM, at the funeral home with a private burial in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park.
