Rex Young

Rex Young, 87 years of age died Monday November 28, 2016. Rex was born October 12, 1929 in Knott County, Kentucky to the late Arlie and Lucinda (Singleton) Young. He was employed by the Bruce Fox Company and Paramount Plywood for many years and was the widower of Ruby D. Young who died in 2006. Rex served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War and was preceded in death by 7 siblings. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by his family and all who knew him. Survivors include his sons, Rex N. Young (Judy), Carter Young (Jeanette), Gary W. Young (Kathy); five grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; brothers, Nolan Young (Fern), Chandler Young, Leon Young (Betty); many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday and after 9:00 am Friday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana.
