Millie Ann (Sorg) Rush

MILLIE ANN (SORG) RUSH, 73, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2017. The daughter of the late John Lee and Lena Wilma (Skaggs) Sorg, Millie was born August 29, 1943 in New Albany, Indiana. She was a former employee of M. Fine & Sons for 30+ years and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, New Albany. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Cynthia, Linda, Connie, John Lee, Jr., Stephen, and Tommy.

Survivors include her husband of over 50 years, Donald E. “Skip” Rush, Sr.; daughter, Tina Hall (Clarence); son, Donald E Rush, Jr. (Lisa); sister, Deborah Howell; brother, Timothy Sorg; grandchildren, Clarence Hall III, Amanda Dennis (Greg), Ashley Blackman (Chad), Amber Brewer (Ryan), and Allie Rush; and 8 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 10:00 am ~ 8:00 pm Wednesday and after 9:00 am Thursday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Mass will be 11:00 am Thursday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in New Albany with entombment to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany.
