Marietta E. Auerweck Kaiser

Marietta E. (Auerweck) Kaiser, 83, died Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at her residence. The daughter of the late Joseph Edward and Mary Catherine (Smith) Auerweck, Marietta was born March 22, 1929 in Louisville, Ky. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in New Albany. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John R. “Jack” Kaiser, Sr. and a sister, JoAnn Wells. Survivors Include her daughters, Carol Bruner (Michael) of Sarasota, Florida, Mary Kay Dorgay of Lanesville, Indiana, Barbara Kaiser of New Albany, Indiana, Jean M. Kaiser of New Albany, Indiana; sons, John R. Kaiser, Jr. (Annette) of New Albany, Indiana, Thomas J. Kaiser of New Albany, Indiana; niece, Kathy Franke; 12 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild. Visitation will be 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. There will be a Rosary Service at 4:00 pm Friday at the funeral home. Her Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am Saturday at Holy Family Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, New Albany.
