Marie Rose (Schnell) Beckman

Marie Rose (Schnell) Beckman, 91 years of age, passed away Thursday, May 17, 2018. She was born December 18, 1926 in Celestine, Indiana to the late Edgin and Catherine Schnell and was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in New Albany. Marie was preceded in death by her husband Joe, son Bill, and grandson Chad. Survivors include her children, Pamela Stephens (Wayne King), Beverly Leonhardt, Gary Beckman (Beverly), Cynthia Stevenson (Donnie), John Beckman (Sandy), Jim Beckman (Karen), Richard Beckman (Leslie), and Lynn Timmons (Mike), 20 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 am Tuesday at Our Lady of Perpetual help Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in New Albany.
