Lisa was a light for so many people. She was kind, loving, strong, and a force to be reckoned with. Lisa lived life with purpose and while it may have been simple, she embraced the small moments that we get when looking at a sunrise or watching a bird fly; being in nature and appreciating life. Those are the moments that life is made of and those are the moments that made her the happiest. Lisa was incredibly proud of the family that she created. She never had a lot but always had just enough and was always happy to share what she could. Those who knew Lisa, know that she was always there to listen and guide where she could. While she is no longer with us in body, she will always be with us in spirit - reminding us to do what’s right, share what you can, and cherish the small things.
Lisa is survived by two daughters, Amy Bober and Kaitlin Pollard (Trent Gentleman); granddaughter, Rowan Gentleman; mother, Joyce McKenzie Williams (Roy Ed); father, Larry Mikel; sister, Deegee Roe; brother, Chad Williams; nephew, Tony Fields; niece, Jordan Williams; and two other special children, Kevin Bober, David Pollard, and Hunter Pollard.
Please join us in celebrating her life. Visitation will be 12pm – 5pm Wednesday, September 29th at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana.
