LeAnna was a “daddy’s girl” and was the second mother to many nieces and nephews. She was very involved in Shawn’s school and had worked as a telephone operator for a doctor’s office, was an aide at the Brown Cancer Center, and worked at the University of Louisville Hospital. LeAnna simply had an enormous heart when it came to caring for others.
She is survived by her son, Shawn Michael Bennett; mother, Lora Byrns Helton; father, Rickey Nolan (Becky); Shawn’s father, Michael Todd Bennett; siblings, Rickey Nolan Jr., Shawna Nolan Majors (Jim), Russell Nolan, Christopher Walker, and Bradley Walker; nieces and nephews, Mikey, Anthony, Taylor, Zachary, and Alana; lifelong friend, Shellie Murphy; and many other relatives and friends.
It was her wish to be cremated and Kraft Funeral Service has been entrusted with her care. There will be a Celebration of LeAnna’s Life held at a later date.
