Kevin Reuben Seese

Kevin was a graduate of Purdue University, a mechanical engineer, and a retired employee of Naval Ordnance.

One thing we all knew about Kevin – he was a kind person. All his life he had a soft spot for animals and anybody that needed a helping hand. We often said Kevin was generous to a fault and you couldn’t find a nicer guy. If you were down on your luck, he was the one wanting to help you out. Kevin avoided conflict and was always a peacemaker. He never had a bad word to say about anybody. His favorite things in life - he loved cats, golf, taking pictures and Purdue!

Kevin, a member of Graceland Baptist Church, followed in his dads footsteps in helping with the Carpenters Helpers. Kevin took pictures of every ramp they built. If he wasn’t taking pictures of ramps, it was of his cats! He loved them and there was never a time in his life he didn’t have a cat purring around his legs or sitting on his lap.

Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Reuben Seese, a brother Brad Seese, and an infant sister Pamela.

Kevin is survived by his mother, Betty Seese, loving fiancé, Tammy Carlton, his sisters Kim Tharp (Russell), Shelley Harlow (Roger); fiancés son Matt Roberts, nephew, Scott Seese, great nephew Greyson Seese, and his beloved cats who he dearly loved.

A visitation for Kevin will be held Thursday, April 6, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, Indiana with a funeral service to follow at 3:00 PM.

Kevin will be laid to rest in Abundant Life Memorial Gardens, 3600 Kamer Miller Road, New Albany, Indiana following the funeral service.
