Judith Kay Heazlitt age 79, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on November 12, 2022. She was born on June 1, 1943, to the late James and Elberta Wells.
Judi was an antique dealer for many years and was a manager at Old New Albany Antique Mall and Aunt Artie’s Antique Mall in New Albany.
Judi enjoyed gardening, antiques, and going to yard sales. She loved animals, and always had something for the birds and squirrels in her backyard. She watched over the neighborhood cats, naming them and rescuing as many as she could.
Judi was preceded in death by her parents James and Elberta Wells, brother Stephen Wells and half-brother Jack Wells.
Judi is survived by her son Rand Heazlitt, daughter Kira Heazlitt Tash (Edward), and Grandson Ben Tash (Holly).
Thanks to the efforts of St Croix Hospice, Judi was able to pass as she had wanted, at home with her family and cats at her side.
