Joseph E. Benningfield

Joseph E. Benningfield, age 71, of Corydon, Indiana passed away on Friday, July 19, 2024. Joseph was born in New Albany, Indiana on June 27, 1953 to the late Joseph B. Benningfield and Martha Roberts Benningfield. Joey was a roofer, truck driver and was the owner of Benningfield Small Engine Repair. He was a member of Assembly of God Acts Full Gospel in Borden. He loved horses, cows and loved to garden and motorcycles. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, David Benningfield. Joey is survived by his wife of 19 years, Catherine Benningfield; children, Tina Fischer, John Hansford (Whitney), Quintin Hansford (Cecelia), Kevin Duncan (Samantha), Dawn Cox (Ryan) and Dustin Duncan (Candice); and grandchildren, Zachary, Jordan, Nicolas, Anthony, Madison, McKenzie, Chyanne, Dalton, Kaitlyn, Hannah, Josh, Tyler, Clayton, Mason, Noah, Isaiah, Alexander, Clover and Emerson. A visitation for Joseph will be held Tuesday, July 23, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Wednesday, July 24, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, Indiana 47150. Funeral service will be Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with burial to follow in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park.
