Jeanne R. Curry Lamm

Jeanne R. (Curry) Lamm, 85, passed away Monday, October 21, 2013 in New Albany. She was born January 29, 1928 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Bernard L. and Vivian (Sanders) Curry. She worked as a registered nurse at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, in Denver, Colorado, and in New Albany for the late Drs. Don & Bob LaFollette and Green Valley Care Center. She was a member of Alpha Club, Coeterie, The Book Club, Monday Meditation Group, Tai Chi, Yoga, St Paul’s Episcopal Church and Bible Study of the Church. Jeanne is survived by her daughters, Jane O’Connor (Bill), Patty Zielinski (Dan); son, Ray Lamm (Dodie); brothers, Jim Curry (Dee), Jerry Curry (Sarah); sister-in-law, Mary Curry; 6 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton and brother, Jack. Memorial visitation will be 12:00 pm ~ 3:00 pm Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana with a Memorial Service at 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project or Salvation Army.
