Janet L. (Jensen) Burkhart

Janet L. (Jensen) Burkhart, 69, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2020. The daughter of the late Donald and Edyth Jensen, Janet was born March 2, 1951. She was a member of Central Christian Church in New Albany and was the most wonderful seamstress. She will be greatly missed by her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, the love of her life, Dallas Eugene Burkhart.

Survivors include her daughter, Julia Hinson; son, Stephen Day; grandchildren, Bradley Hubbard, Christina Strunk (Joshua), Noah Day (Allie), Justin Day, Zachary Day, Hunter Day, and Kelby Day; great grandchildren, Samantha Mefford, Natalie Hubbard, and Laken Strunk; sister, Judy Cozine (Lillard); and brother, Keith Jensen (Sharon).

Visitation will be 2 pm – 7 pm Tuesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany. Her Funeral Service will be 11 am Wednesday in the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel with private burial following in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany.
