Guy A. Roehm, 97, went to be with his Lord Tuesday, December 25, 2012. He was born May 20, 1915 in Cannelton, IN to the late George K. and Mary M. Burden Roehm. He is also preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Jane Ritz Roehm, who was involved in all things he did and his brother Charles “Gene” Roehm. He was general manager of The Grand, Elks, and Indiana theatres after being hired temporarily for six weeks which turned into 41 years. He also worked with the Louisville theatres and met several movie stars including being in a parade with some to New Albany High School. After the Grand closed, he took a job as an information and referral specialist at the Council for the Aged for almost 13 years. He was a lifelong member of Central Christian Church in New Albany where he was active in many roles including Sunday school teacher, Junior Church leader, Deacon, Elder and playing Santa Claus. He often said that he didn’t think that alone would get him to Heaven.

Terry L. Roehm and wife Debbie Richmond, TX
Grandchildren: Travis (Kristina), Troy (Faith), Todd (Jillian), and Kristie (Dustin)

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm Friday and after 10:00 am Saturday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Service will be 12:00 pm Saturday in the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel with burial to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
