Gary Wayne Davis

Gary Wayne Davis, 64 years of age passed away Friday, July 9th, 2021 at home. He was the son of the late William and Audrey (Fouts) Davis, and step-son of the late Frederick Huelson. Gary was born July 13, 1956 in New Albany, Indiana. He served in the United States Navy and worked at AT&T retiring as a Hi-cap Manager after 34 years of service. In addition to his parents he was proceeded in death by his son, Ryan William Davis. Gary is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Cindy Davis; a daughter, Danielle Davis (Giovanni) Ruiz; two grandchildren, Jaxson and Sofia Ruiz; three sisters, Melanie (Rick) Geltmaker, Michelle (Terry) Heck and Melinda Huelson; a brother-in-law, Steve Jenks; a sister-in-law, Michelle (Brian) Stack; nieces, Megan, Audrey, Morgan and Rachel; nephews, Ray, Blaine, Tyler and Derrick; and one aunt, Sharon (Jim) Reeves. Gary loved Johnny Cash and Country Music, golf, and was a huge IU fan. Gary had a tremendous sense of humor and never met a stranger. He will be deeply missed by many family, friends and his loving dog, Cash. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road. Funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home with burial in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park.
