Ella Ree Sorrels

Ella Ree (Bishop) Sorrels, 86 years of age passed on July 18, 2019. She was born June 1, 1933 in Centertown, Kentucky to the late Ralph and Dora B. (Brown) Bishop and was the widow of Harrell Edward Sorrels who passed in 2007. Ella formerly worked at H.A. Seinsheimers and was a wonderful wife, mom, granny. She was a longtime member of First Southern Baptist Church in Clarksville, Indiana and will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by her family and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son-in-law Zane Wolfe, granddaughter Elizabeth (Sorrels) Deirth, and step grandson Nicholas Downs. Survivors include her four children, Harrell Ray Sorrels (Debbie), Pat Morgan (Loy), Sandy Geary (Larry), Ed Sorrels (Nita); six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter, five step grandchildren, three step great grandchildren, three step great great grandchildren; sister, Christine Jessie; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm Saturday and 11:00 am until 2:00 pm Sunday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday in the Kraft Charlestown Rd. Chapel with burial to follow at Wolfe Cemetery in Georgetown, Indiana. Online condolences may be made to www.kraftfs.com
