Dorothy Lee Jacobs, 82, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2022. Dorothy was born April 6, 1940 in New Albany, Indiana to Flossie Downs Stocksdale. She was a retired Teacher's Aide for the New Albany Floyd County Public School Corporation.
In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Ellis Jacobs; a grandson, Bryce Jacobs; and five siblings, John Corley, William Corley, Susie Voyles, Buck Corley and Robert Stocksdale.
Dorothy is survived by a son, Daniel Jacobs (Dana); grandchildren, Brittani Reynolds (Landon), Nathan Postlewait, Danika Jacobs and Alec Jacobs; three great grandchildren, Beau, Case and Taylor with her four great grandson on the way; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Dorothy will be held Tuesday, July 12, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, Indiana 47150.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with private burial in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park.
