Doris Jean Barth Jones, 82, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away December 15, 2024. She was born in New Albany, Indiana on September 23, 1942 and was a member of New Beginning Community Church. Her husband of 45 years was the late Jim Jones.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she is preceded in death by a son, Douglas Scott Jones.
Doris is survived by a son, Michael C. Jones; grandchildren, Jared James Jones, Jacob John Henry Monroe Jones, Colt Jones, Boston Jones, Abigail Ann Jones; great grandchildren, Mila Abigail Jones and Tatum Jones; and a dear niece who was like a sister, Donna Farnsley.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Thursday, December 19, 2024 and from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Friday, December 20, 2024 at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 East Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana 47150.
Funeral Service will be the following day, Friday, December 20, 2024 at 11:00 am at the funeral home with burial to follow in Martinsburg Cemetery.
