Cheryl D. Cardwell

Cheryl D. Cardwell, 62 years of age died Tuesday, April 2, 2019. She was born December 23, 1956 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Kenneth L. and Margaret Christine (Reed) Cardwell. Cheryl was an avid Kentucky fan and loved flowers, plants, sunbathing and swimming as well as being a wonderful partner, homemaker, granny, and mom. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by her family and friends. Survivors include her life partner of nineteen years, Gene Sartini; two children, Aimee Sunshine Linton (Shawn), Christopher Cardwell (Lacy); eight grandchildren, Trinity, Liberty, Liam, Owen, Luke, Elijah, Karoline, Roman; two sisters, Cynthia Cardwell, Shelley Cardwell Barron (Mike); and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Liturgy will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, April 6, 2019 at the funeral home chapel. Private burial will be Monday, April 8, 2019 at Resthaven Memorial Park in Louisville, Kentucky.
