Carolyn "Susie" Ledbetter

Carolyn "Susie" Ledbetter, age 70, of New Albany, Indiana passed away at Baptist Floyd Hospital on Wednesday, July 17, 2024. Susie was born in Southbend, Indiana on December, 20th, 1953 to the late Paul Foster Brown and Gladys Opal (Minton) Brown. Susie was a long time and dedicated retired employee of the JCPS school system. She was a member of the Cloverleaf Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky. Susie was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was also known for being an animal lover. Susie is preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Dennis, Bobby, Terry. She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, William "Bill" Ledbetter, her children, David Thomas (Carrie) Brown, William "Billy" (Rhonda) Ledbetter, Shirley (Dave) Keith; six grandchildren, and one great grandchild. A visitation for Susie is scheduled for Thursday, July 25th, 2024 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. A private funeral service and entombment will be held at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
