Carolyn Ann Hutchinson

Carolyn Ann Hutchinson (Cardwell) passed away on May 20, 2024. She was born on October 10, 1943, to the late William Jefferson Cardwell and Mary Mattingly Schaad. Carol attended classes at Indiana University and Ivy Tech. Additionally, early education attended at St. Augustine's in Jeffersonville, Indiana and Durrett High School in Kentucky. Her work history included St. Elizabeth's and Key Communications in New Albany, Indiana. Carol was a long-time member of Northside Christian Church. She Volunteered with numerous programs and activities through her church. Along with her parents, Carol is preceded in death by her brothers, Joe Cardwell and Mike Schaad; and her sons, Randy J. Singleton and Jefferey A. Singleton. Carol is survived by her children, Larry Blanton, Theresa Dooley (Jim), and Rhonda J. Hoffman; her grandchildren include David and Chris Blanton, Christina Trent, Todd Ayers, Kalyn Singleton, and Dawson Dooley; Carol's siblings include her precious sister and brother, Judy Bolin and Bill Schaad and her friend and sister-in-law, Reva Glass. The family would like to extend sincere gratitude to Carol's Church Family, to include Barb Gilbert, Stephanie O'Neal and Bruce Koetter for all of the love and family support provided over the years. Additionally, the family would like to extend many thanks to the staff at Sellersburg Rehab for their extended care, support and love. The family has chosen to have private services for Carol.
