Carl E. Meyer Jr.

Carl E. Meyer, Jr., 101 years of age died Wednesday, October 26, 2016. The son of the late Carl E. Meyer, Sr. and Louise Nadorff, Carl was born December 3, 1914. He served in the United States Coast Guard during World War II. In 1943 he married Rosalie Shivel who preceded him in death on May 1, 2013. He retired from Colgate-Palmolive. Carl was preceded in death by his brothers, Leo Meyer, Melvin Meyer; and sister, Gertrude Kleer. He is survived by many nieces and nephews who loved their “Uncle Carl”. A private memorial service will be held at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana with burial at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
