The members of the Kelley-Gazzerro VFW Post express our condolences to the family of Al Vacca. Al was instrumental in the building of our VFW home and was a great supporter of the Post and our members.

My condolences to the family of Al Vacca. I did not meet Al until I joined the VFW in 1999. I have great memories of conversations with Al. Although he seldom talked about his military experience, he told wonderful stories of himself and his family building the Kelley Gazzerro VFW Post. I missed him when he moved away. I will not forget him. God Bless Al Vacca.

Aunt Mary, Albert, Joanne and family, we extend our heartfelt sympathy at uncle Al's passing.  "The end of a generation"  how sad.  I hark back to Sunday nights at my parents house when we would all get together as a family and the good times, and that is what you need to do to get through this difficult period.  Think of all the good times and the rich and full life uncle Al had.  We both wish that in a short time your tears will be replaced with a smile as you remember the husband, father, grandfather and the good times you shared in his lifetime. Mary, Albert and Joann, My wife Lisa and I were very saddened to learn that our beloved cousin Albert passed away.  We had many good times together especially at Mickey and Mary's house.  We had some great discussions about the plights of the Red Sox and Yankees.  We had many great laughs. We loved him greatly and have missed him much.  He was a very giving and loving person.  We pray that God will give you much strength during this difficult time.  He will now be with the rest of his family and cousin  Viola in heaven.  I'm sure that they are now all having a great time.

Dear Auntie Mary and Cousin Albert, Uncle Al's passing is such a great loss, i will never forget his sense of humor and his love for anyone he was related to!! I called bingo for Albert at Green Valley Care Center.It took me a while to talk him into playing,but once he starting playing he really enjoyed it and won like crazy. I considered him a close friend and I will truly miss him. I was the one who gave Albert the rose to give to his wife for Valentines Day.Your family has my deepest sympathy.

Carla I am so sorry for the loss of your grandfather.  I know there are no words that can be said to take away the pain.  My prayers are with you and the family.  God's grace and peace to you.
