Dad enjoyed good health most of his life, but things took a turn for the worse last October, and it had been quite a struggle for him since then. He was optimistic, and had a strong spirit and will of steel. Rest easy, dad, your hard work is done.
Peter was predeceased by his loving wife Susanne in 2010 and by his son Jeff in 2020. He leaves to mourn his passing his daughter and son-in-law Shelley and Don Marion, and their family; Jason (and Josee), Trevor (and Stacey), and Steven (and Megan), along with great grandchildren: Devon, Angela (Garnet), Hunter (and his mom Kelcey), and Rowen Marion; his daughter-in-law Lisa Hill, and her family Kelsey and Megan Heide.
Peter outlived all of his siblings: Katie (Herman), Herman, Margaret, Helen, John, Anne (Jack), and Agnes (Percy). He is survived by his sister-in-law Jean, his brother John’s widow. Jean has been a close friend of Peter’s for many years, and she has been a source of help and comfort to him. He was also predeceased by Susanne’s siblings and in-laws, and is survived by one brother-in-law Leonard Enns. He also leaves to mourn his passing many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and friends. Many thanks to those that still visited dad and checked up on him through text or phone calls.
Dad was a hard worker his whole life. He left school at a young age, to help out the family. He worked many jobs, one of which was working for George Klassen doing construction. This is where he met and fell in love with the boss’s daughter. He and Susanne married in June of 1953, and had two children: Shelley and Jeff.

thou hast been faithful over a few things,
I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.”
