Eleanor passed away peacefully in her sleep at the Emerson Personal Care Home on Friday, June 23, 2023.
Predeceased by her husband Henry (1999), her parents Raymond and Marjorie Ginn, her sisters Betty Lou and Iris and brother Glenn.
Survived by her children Kristy Lou and Dwight (Joyce). Grandchildren Rachelle (George) and Ryan (Kirusha). Four great grandchildren Brooklyn, Tyler, Maverick and Kayden.
Eleanor was born and raised in Dominion City, MB. She married Henry on September 8, 1951 and resided & farmed in Greenridge, MB. Henry and Eleanor moved to Emerson in 1962.
Eleanor was employed by Canada Post for 30 plus years both in Greenridge and Emerson.
Eleanor lived life to its fullest in her 96 plus years. Curling bonspiels and golfing escapades will be fondly remembered by all the people she encountered and the numerous lives she touched.
The doctors, nurses and staff at the Emerson Personal Care home took very special care of Eleanor for the last 9 years of her life.
The family wishes to thank Brenda Lange and Marnie Beninger for their friendship and companionship throughout her years & especially during her time at the care home, where their frequent visits were always welcomed & uplifting for Eleanor.

A Celebration of Eleanor’s Life will be held in Emerson on Sunday Sept. 3, 2023 at the Emerson Community Complex at 2 PM.
