A proud graduate of Tennessee Preparatory School, Winston went on to have a distinguished career as a Captain with the Nashville Fire Department.
Winston was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He is survived by his devoted wife of over 50 years, Sue Graham; his daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Jimmy Watson; his son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Katie Graham; and his cherished grandchildren, Jimmy Watson, Kaitlyn, Brooke, and Morgan Graham. He also leaves behind his brother and sister-in-law, George and Betty Graham; his sister, Margie Moore; and a host of nieces and nephews, all of whom will deeply miss him.
Winston loved spending his time fishing, watching his grandkids play sports. He was known for his kind heart, and warm sense of humor, which endeared him to all who knew him. He was a man of great faith with a love for family.
A gathering of family & friends for Winston will be held Tuesday, November 19, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204, followed by a celebration of life from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM.
