December 25, 1946- October 30, 2024
It is with great sadness that the family of William Booth Davis, announces his death, on October 30, 2024. His passing leaves a huge void in the lives of Anne (his wife of 43 years), daughters Rebecca Brogden ( Reid), Liza (Todd Rosiak), and grandchildren Caroline, Samuel and Evelyn Brogden. Bill is survived by two brothers, Carl B. Davis (Claudia), James D. Davis (Susan), sisters-in-law, Leigh Davis Hindman(David), Wahleah Davis, and their families of 6 loving nieces and nephews (Blake, Laura, Bobby, Emery, Jimmy and Melissa).
Bill’s mission in life was to “sow seeds”, empower others and be a good steward of his many blessings. The motto “Live and Serve” guided him in his service to every community in which he lived.
Bill’s successes in life were attributable to his positive attitude and his team approach to his every venture (and there were many). His failures only heightened his desire to learn from his mistakes and try again - giving up was not in his nature. In the end, this deeply faithful man was stronger, wiser, kinder, and humbled in his life to serve the Lord.
His love and respect for the outdoors and for God’s creations whether it be a beautiful sunrise in a Wisconsin cornfield or for the many dogs that blessed his life, was constant and enduring. He generously shared this awe and appreciation with many, most especially his daughters.
Thanks be to God for the Life of Bill Davis.
