Vivian Austin Tucker was born on January 12, 1926, to J.A. and Martha Austin in Nashville, Tennessee, and left this life to be with her Lord on July 9, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Marian Dixon; and her beloved husband of 66 years, Joseph Tucker. Vivian was a faithful member of the Lord's church and worshipped for over 48 years at the Memorial Parkway and Meridianville churches. She worked for over 30 years at Redstone Arsenal and retired in 1996. She is survived by her children, Carol and Douglas Gibson, Stephen Tucker, and Richard and Ruth Tucker; and grandchildren, Sarah Gibson, Emily and Chris Cole, Sabrina and Josh Birdsong, Charlie Tucker, Austin Tucker; and her great granddaughter, Connie Birdsong. Funeral services will be held at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 20, 2016, at eleven-thirty in the morning with visitation an hour prior.
