Valerie Lynn Van Eaton

Valerie Lynn Van Eaton passed away from complications related to early dementia on August 16, 2021. She was 63 years old. Valerie was born to Charles and Katherine Van Eaton née Jones on October 13, 1957. She was the oldest of four children. She graduated with honors from Western Kentucky University in 1979 and later earned a masters degree in business from Belmont University. She was Vice President of Proposal Development for Corrections Corporation of America and was heavily involved in the community, serving in the Junior League and as an enthusiastic supporter of the WKU Alumni Association. Valerie was a bright spot to her friends and family with her generous spirit, quick wit and incredible intelligence. Valerie leaves a great void in all our hearts. She was preceded in death by her father (Charles) and her sister (Laurie Pavik). She is survived by her loving companion Randall Winton, her mother (Katherine), sister (Charlotte Bishop), brother (David Van Eaton), nieces (Katherine, Lauren, Madilyn), nephews (Nathaniel and Harrison), two great nephews and great niece.
