He grew up in the Nashville area, went to Maplewood Highschool and played the drummer in a local band for a time during his teenage years. He proudly served 4 years in the United State Air Force, where he was stationed in France. Following his military service he pursued higher education, leading to a successful career as a draftsman in Nashville, eventually retiring from Frigidaire Electrolux in Springfield, TN. Thereafter he continued working as the proud business owner of Grasstech Landscaping and Lawn Service for several years.
Known for his love of people, Steve never met a stranger. He had a fondness for gardening, enjoyed studying and investing in the stock market and watching various types of sports (Denver Nuggets being his current fav). Above all, he cherished his family and friends and will be sorely missed.
