Russell "Rusty" Wayne Thornberry

Russel (Rusty) Wayne Thornberry, 65, passed away April 4th 2022. He passed away Alive Hospice Center in Murfreesboro, TN. He was born November 6th 1956 in Anderson, IN to late Gerald Lee Thornberry and Martha Ann Vaughn.

Rusty worked for Leibhart Mills in Middletown, IN, until he retired in 2009. Rusty enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

He is survived by his children Casey Lynn Thornberry, Troy Wayne Thornberry, and the late Jayson Micheal Thornberry, by his grandchildren Troy Wayne Thornberry Jr., Troy Clayton Thornberry, and Kai Thornberry, by his brothers Walter Lee Vaughn and Chris Thornberry, by his sisters Judith Renee Hummel, Sherry Gilbert, and Beth Ann Thornberry, by his nieces and nephews Laurie Ann Hardison, Danielle Renee Ficili, husband Frank Ficili, Micheal Hummel, Josh Vaughn, Justin Vaughn, wife Kayla Vaughn, Matt Vaughn, and Miranda Vaughn, and by his great nieces and nephews Whitney Hardison, Cassandra Hardison, Justin Cook, Ella Filici, Eian Filici, Justin Vaughn and Nash Vaugh.

A Memorial Gathering will be held Saturday April 9th from 1 to 3pm at Herbert & Hailey Funeral Home, 429 Donelson Pike, Nashville TN.
