Ronnie Eugene Oeser, born February 24, 1940, in Nashville, TN, passed away on December 12, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones. He was the beloved son of Earnest Oeser and Ruth Davis and was greeted into heaven by his bonus son, Michael Sean Ford, and his 9 siblings. Ronnie was the last of 10 siblings.
Ronnie is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Brenda Oeser; his bonus child, Denise (Carlon Finley) Ford Johnson; sons, Steve, Tony, and Chris Oeser; and his cherished grandchildren, Sage Harrington, Zane Grey; 6 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Throughout his life, Ronnie shared a special bond with his wife, Brenda. Together, they traveled to 47 out of 50 states, with St. Pete Beach being their favorite vacation spot every May. Ronnie had a deep love for westerns, especially John Wayne films, and was an avid fan of cowboys. His hobbies included painting, wood carving, and he was known for his love of cooking. His famous chili, banana pudding, and the family’s favorite cookies will always be remembered. But above all, Ronnie’s greatest love was Sage and Zane, who brought him so much joy.
A Gathering of Family & Friends will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:30 AM at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home, 660 Thompson Lane, Nashville, TN.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a Hospice or to 50 Forward in Ronnie’s memory.
