Roger is preceded in death by his daughter Thressa Lyn Reynolds, father Howard Elwood Reynolds, Sr. and brother Douglas P Reynolds.
He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 56 years Brenda Lepoma Reynolds, his mother Harriett May Shartzer Reynolds, brothers David Reynolds, Howard Reynolds Jr., sisters Tina Reynolds, Vicky Fohner, brother in law Frank Lepoma (Marilyn), sister in law Karen Mary Wolgemuth, he was Uncle Dewey to nieces Shannen Lepoma-Bond (Onasile), Kimberly Rogers (Loyd), Amy Anderson, nephews Daniel Wolgemuth (Emily), Randall Wayne Pemberton, great nieces and nephews Loyd III, Justin, Kendall Rogers, Levi, Connor, Reagan Wolgemuth and Uncle Terry to 4 nieces, 2 nephews, 4 great nieces and 7 great nephews. Roger loved his family and enjoyed showing up for all the fun events in their lives.
Roger served his country in the Air Force and retired from Roadway Express after 30 years of loyal service. Roger was a gifted woodworker and craftsman. He loved animals especially his dog Lucy and cat Callie. Roger had a great sense of humor and an endless supply of “dad” jokes that could keep you laughing. He was always kind, loyal, welcoming, and willing to help everyone.
Our hearts are heavy for losing someone so special but our lives will reflect the love and humor Roger (Dewey) leaves behind.
A visitation for Roger will be held Saturday, May 20, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204, followed by a funeral service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
