Robert "Bob" Harry Richard

Richard, Robert (Bob) Harry, age 68, passed away at home on September 11, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. Bob was born in Torrington, CT and attended Pratt University. Bob was CEO of Manchester Tank ; however, his passion was flying with the Eagleville Soaring Club as a glider pilot.

Bob is predeceased by his first wife of 27 years, Betty Lou Richard, his parents, Harry and Mary Richard, and his brother, Danny Richard. Bob is survived by his wife of 10 weeks, Mary Youree Richard, his son, David Lyman (Michele), his step children, Mary Beth Kramer (Chad), Melissa Freeman, and Dana Youree. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Ben, Alyssa, and Kurstin Lyman, and his step grandchildren, Claire Freeman, Harris Freeman, Dayna Kramer, and Nathalie Kramer.

A memorial service for Bob will be held Thursday, September 18th at 10:30 am at St. George Episcopal Church, 4715 Harding Road, Nashville, TN, with Rev. Corky Carlisle and Rev. Chris Bowhay, officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alive Hospice, 1900 Patterson, Nashville, TN 37203 or to Eagleville Soaring Club, 4689 Hwy 41A, Eagleville, TN 37060.
