Robert "Robbie" Joseph Adkins, age 60, went to his heavenly home on November 17, 2024. He was greeted by his parents, Joe Wright and Georgia Edene Adkins, brother Larry Joe Adkins, nephew, William Douglas Goddard, and niece, Rikki Jean Douglas. Left to mourn his loss is his sister and lifelong caregiver, Donna K Clark, nephew, Terry W (Donna) Adkins, nieces, DeeDee (Todd) Jackson, Gina Goddard, and Tiffany (Josh) Hicks. He is also survived by great, and great-great, nieces and nephews too numerous to count.
Robbie was a gift to this Earth and made lasting impressions on anyone he met. All who knew him knew of his love for WWE, Grand Ole Opry, The Dukes of Hazzard, coloring, arm wrestling, Reese’s cups and cheeseburgers. Robbie was the weatherman for so many and loved watching thunderstorms. Most importantly Robbie loved the Lord, Highland Park Church, and his Jack Russell Terrier, Sidda Leigh.
Robbie never met a stranger and once you were his friend, he never forgot you. The family is grateful for everyone that touched his life, including his hero, Pastor Dale Robble, who will also be officiating the service.
