Renesa graduated with an associate’s degree in law enforcement from Aquinas College in Nashville. Her career began at the Metro Nashville property assessor's office and as a pharmacy technician at Super D Drug Store. In 1979, she joined Metro Nashville Public Works, starting as an office clerk and working her way up to office manager. After a dedicated 42-year tenure, she retired in 2021.
On November 15, 1980, Renesa married Leroy Alan Davis in Nashville, Tennessee. Together, they built a loving family, and Renesa was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her life revolved around her six children and numerous grandchildren, whom she cherished deeply. She was known for her caring nature and her willingness to help anyone in need. Renesa also adored her little brown dog, Mack, and enjoyed playing Pac-Man and Hayday, often falling asleep, but was still able to hold her phone up as if she was playing on it.
Renesa found joy in attending her children's dance recitals, despite the chaotic moments of costume changes, makeup, and lots of hairspray. She loved vacations to East Tennessee and Florida, exploring the Great Smoky Mountains, and visiting Dollywood and Splash Country. Her enthusiasm for life extended to fishing, beach outings, and endless fun at the parks.
She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Leroy Alan Davis; children, Jeremiah Andrew (Melissa) Davis, Tiffany Andrea (Brian) Jones, Joshua Adam Davis, Daffany Amanda Davis, Taffany Amber Carman, and Delaney Amelia (Chris) Davis; and her cherished grandchildren, Zachary Logan Davis, Annaliese Faith Davis, Caleb Alexander Jones, Cody Alan Jones, Jaxson Hunter Davis, Daryl Lee Roy Davis, Dalton Alan Felts, Kimberly Amber Carman, and Axel Wyatt Wegenke.
