Passed away April 26, 2015 at age 94. Preceded by his wife of 72 years, Frances Louise Bradley. He is survived by son Obie Bradley Jr. and daughter-in-law Martha of Poquoson, VA; son Gary Bradley of Donelson; daughter Pam and son-in-law Colonel Sam Whitson of Franklin, TN; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. A U.S. Army World War II veteran, Mr. Bradley served as an infantryman in the 317th Infantry Regiment, 80th Infantry Division during the 1944 Lorraine Campaign in northern France. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal, the Purple Heart Medal and the Combat Infantryman Badge. He retired in 1979 after 33 years with AVCO. His family is thankful for the outstanding care and support provided for Mr. Bradley by the employees of AseraCare and McKendree Village Manor. A private interment ceremony will be held for family members.
