Michelle G. Yates

Michelle was born on June 20, 1967 to Barbara and Marvin Yates in Fort Riley, Kansas and was preceded in death by both her parents.

Michelle was quite the girly girl who loved to look good, have her nails painted, have her hair brushed and be told how nice she looked. She enjoyed spending time outside with the wind and sun on her face. She was a huge Taylor Swift fan and loved listening to her music. Michelle faced many challenges in her life but faced them with grace and gentleness, and not a little bit of sass. She had no problem letting you know when she was dissatisfied. Michelle spent the last years of her life as a resident of Mur-Ci Homes, Inc. where she was greatly loved. She had a great sense of humor and would laugh when staff would crack jokes on one another. Her smile would simply light up the room. She had many friends at Mur-Ci Homes and will be sorely missed by them as well as by the members of her family.

She is survived by her brother Randal Yates and his wife Heidi, sister Loretta Dufrene and brother Jeffrey Yates.

The family wishes to express appreciation for the quality of life and love Mur-Ci Homes provided Michelle on a daily basis. A celebration of life will be scheduled in the near future.
