Michael Siegel, a man who always wanted to make the world a better place, passed away Friday after a long illness.
Michael, or as his friends knew him, Mike, carried that passion into everything he did. From his service in the U.S. Army to his love for his grandchildren to his service in the Patriot Guard Riders.
Always one with a smile on his face, Mike helped many over the years who leaned on him. His positive attitude and infectious smile made a better day for many.
Mike was an avid motorcycle rider , fisherman, and treasured his Harley. He loved the outdoors, frequently going camping and canoeing with his children and he loved hearing from his grandchildren or Klayna (cuties).
Mike built up a successful business as a computer consultant where he advised many area businesses on how to maximize their efficiency. After he retired, Mike spent time traveling with his family, most recently taking a trip to Disney.
He will be buried with full military honors at a military cemetery at a later date. IN LIEU OF FLOWERS, DONATIONS CAN BE MADE TO THE WOUNDED WARRIOR PROJECT
