I’m so fortunate to have met and known Maxine. She is one of the loveliest people I have had in my life. Always thinking of others and what she could do to bring sunshine into their lives. Having Adam visit was always a highlight for her and of course she shared him with us. Heaven has gained another angel and she is with  the love of her life riding on their motorcycle through the Milky Way. I miss you and love you Sweet Friend.  

Maxine and I lived in the same apartment building and I enjoyed seeing her everyday.    She always had a grin ready and contributed to the overall spirit of this place.   Maxine loved my dog and all the dogs in the building.   I will miss her very much.

Maxine and I have been friends for years and I never have met a more caring, fun and good person.  During the past 15 years or so we have traveled to restaurants first with Bob in tow and later with other friends after he passed.  She was full of stories and always kept us laughing.  She and Bob traveled the US on a BMW motorcycle and she told stories of being chased by a bull out west and winding up in a cornfield, of writing postcards on the back of the motorcycle and even being able to sleep while Bob drove on through the night.  I’d like to think of her and Bob on that motorcycle today and traveling the universe together again.   She loved her family and friends most of all and we all loved her.  She will be greatly missed.   Because of health reasons I won’t be able to attend the funeral but I will be there in spirit and her spirit will be with me always.

had told me that she was ill.  Maxine and Bob shared so many good times with us. Anytime we are in a state park, we relive our trips with them. We will be out of town this week-end and 
unable to attend the funeral. Please know that we are thinking of you and the family.

I live in the apartment building where Maxine resided. She was a sweet, cheerful and warm presence in our midst. I have a small dog and she loved animals. She helped many people here and will be sorely missed.

Maxine was a special friend of mine when I lived at the Teachers Tower for 7 years. I stopped by a few days ago and ran into her in the lobby and was so happy to see her and get a big hug. Then heard a couple days later that she was gone. I’m SO glad I got that hug. Love you Maxine! ❤️
