Maxie Caruthers Jr, 98 of Nashville passed away on Feb 13, 2020. He was born in Lawrenceburg, TN. He was a US Army veteran from WWII and Korea. He was a member and deacon at McNairy Hill Primitive Baptist Church. He was predeceased by his wife Marie Caruthers. He is survived by his children Brenda Caruthers and Maxie Caruthers III and 2 grandchildren Brian and Chris Caruthers. There will be a gathering of family and friends on Friday Feb 21, from four o’clock pm until six o’clock pm at Woodlawn Roesch Patton Funeral Home and on Saturday Feb. 22, from ten o’clock until service time at eleven o’clock at Big Harpeth UPBC 522 Meridian Street Nashville TN 37207. Graveside service will be Monday Feb. 24, 11 am at Nashville National Cemetery.
