Mary Garretson Lewis, passed away on March 7, 2012 at River City Care & Rehabilitation in Decatur, Al. She was born November 5, 1912 in Killen, Al. to Leroy Benjamin and Ruby Kate Garretson. She was retired from South Central Bell with 40 years service. She was a member of Belmont Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband James Willard Lewis and her parents. Survivors include one daughter Ruby Jane Freeman (Donald W.) of Vero Beach, Fl., one son James Lee Lewis (Mary Ann) of Decatur, Al., four grandchildren and six Great Grandchildren. Funeral for Mary Garretson Lewis, of Decatur, will be Friday, March 9, 2012 at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Pam Hawkins officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family members. Visitation will be at the Funeral Home one hour prior the service.
