My name is Dr. John C. McKenzie and I was raised in Athens, TN.  I became a Christian when Brother Bond was the pastor of First Baptist Church there.
I believe I can almost remember (after all I am 80) when the CN A Capella choir came to our church when he met your Mother and they were subsequently married.  They were wonderful people and have left a wonderful heritage to their family.  I had one son graduate from CN in 1980 and I think Mac was an assistant coach at the time.  Oh, if we could only have more Charles and Mary Bonds in this world.  I would love to hear from some of the family members sometime and talk more about old times.  www.jbkenzie3@gmail.com
