Martha L. King Kirkpatrick, 81, of Nashville passed away March 10, 2017. With her loving husband by her side. She graduated from Hume-Fogg High school. Martha worked at Southern Bell until she and Buddy started a family. Martha will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her church Glencliff United Methodist Church where she has been a member for 50 years. Survived by her loving husband of 61 years Arthur "Buddy" Kirkpatrick; children, Connie (Homer) Carter, Rick (Linda) Kirkpatrick, Sheri (David) Kimbro; grandchildren Hunter Kirkpatrick, Derek (Meghan) Kimbro, Reece Kirkpatrick. Preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters. Visitation Sunday March 12th from three o’clock in the afternoon until five o’clock in the afternoon at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home, second visitation Monday March 13th from twelve thirty until two thirty in the afternoon funeral will begin at two thirty in Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall. Entombment following in Woodlawn’s Cross Mausoleum. Pallbearers Hunter Kirkpatrick, Derek Kimbro, Reece Kirkpatrick, George Holzwart, Terry Holzwart, Mark Baron, David Kimbro, and Homer Carter.
