Mrs. Linda (Copeland) Raymer, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away with family by her side on Thursday, April 18, 2019. She was born on January 28, 1946 in Nashville, TN to the late William Turner Copeland and Margaret Christine (Slayden) Copeland. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Raymer, of Whites Creek, TN, who shared her life for almost two decades.
Her life will forever be remembered in the lives and laughter of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by four daughters: Leisa Marie Gill (Andy), Wanda Faye Bryan (Terry), Belinda Grace Moore (Steve), and Candace April Webb; seven grandchildren, Melissa Woodard, Abigail Gill, Laura Smith, Emily Bryan, Justin York, Valerie York Parsons, and Cristopher Diaz, and four great-grandchildren, Mason Woodard, Jackson York, Lexi York Ellis, and Breanna Parsons.
She grew up with eight brothers and sisters, Charles Copeland (D), Patricia (Copeland) McBee, Leon Copeland (D), James Copeland, Margaret (Copeland) Neal (D), Tillman Copeland, Clifford Copeland and Michael Copeland.
Mrs. Raymer was a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Her passion was for the elderly and she spent her career working primarily in skilled nursing facilities. She was a friend to many – her passing is deeply felt.
